An oven that develops a fault well after purchase isn't automatically uncovered — you have up to 6 years to claim if you can show the fault was inherent, not caused by installation or misuse.
Contact the retailer, describe the fault clearly, and ask for a repair or replacement. Past 6 months you'll need some evidence it's a fault rather than wear (a documented pattern of the same failure in that model is useful supporting evidence).
Your rights against the retailer for the appliance itself are unaffected. A separate installation fault would be a claim against whoever installed it, not the retailer of the oven.
You can ask, but the retailer can offer a reasonable equivalent if the exact model is discontinued — it should be comparable in price and function.
Only if it was faulty or not as described when delivered. Cosmetic damage from normal use afterward isn't covered.
